Slip and Fall Season is Around the Corner

Winter is on its way, and that got me thinking about a client I helped a year or so ago. She fell on a thick piece of ice at her apartment complex and broke her ankle, which led to a blood clot settling in one of her lungs. That's a very dangerous condition - and it was caused by the negligence of the apartment owner for not fixing a broken drain pipe.

What If the Other Driver is Uninsured?

Colorado law requires every driver in the state to have a minimum amount of auto insurance - $25,000 to cover damage and injuries to another individual and their vehicle, and a total of $50,000 to cover damage and injuries to all other vehicles and persons involved in the car accident.
